Some neat uses for wireless cameras

Author: nathan January 10, 2010

Wireless cameras can be used for a wide range of functions. Since these cameras are wireless you can use them almost any were, some wireless cameras can run on a 9 volt battery, making them truly wireless. This kind of camera gives you options for example if you run a daycare for small kids you could use the camera to keep an eye on the sleeping babies while entertaining the older kids, virtually being in more than one place at any given time. Another good idea is if you have a building that is not secured ie a garage or shed you could use the camera to watch it for you. Hey the sky is the limit with these convenient and inexpensive cameras

wireless DVR

If you are running a day care or even if you are in care of a senior parent. I hand held wireless DVR (digital video recorder) can be a great tool that will allow you to be be in many places at once up to 4 in-fact. Some of these models come with the ability to check up to 4 different wireless cameras form the palm of your hand. Some models, I have used they also have a SD card slot so you can refer to it at a later date or to save your photos on your PC. The unit is rechargeable and quite often has audio capabilities as well so if you hear a noise you can quickly verify what caused it. This neat little tool could save a lot of running around.

using a wireless security camera as a baby or child monitor

Author: nathan August 1, 2009

 Handheld DVR

Baby monitors are great but some can be a little cheap and not that effective.  Using a regular wireless security camera and a handheld DVR can be just as effective.  I use this for my daycare.  If a child is sleeping I put them in a seperate room and keep an eye on them with the handheld LCD screen.  This way the other children can play and the younger ones get their rest.

Then once the baby is older it can be used to watch them outside or as a security camera.

Keeping an Eye on Your Nanny

Author: WirelessRules May 15, 2009
Keeping an Eye on Your Nanny

If the stories on the news can teach us anything it’s that we must be extremely cautious about the people we leave our children with. Whether you find them on Craigslist or down the street, many parents simply have to trust that babysitters and nannies are doing their job and doing it responsibly. But this kind of blind trust is understandably difficult for any conscientious parent. But the good news is that parents do have some options.

If you’re at all suspicious of your nanny or you are experiencing any trepidation about an individual, consider installing some wireless security cameras. These can help you monitor your babysitter’s behavior when he/she doesn’t think anyone can see them. Many people have misgivings about unknowingly videotaping others, but just as many weigh that against the confirmation that your children are safe. If you do view physical, verbal, or emotional abuse against your children, contact the appropriate authorities immediately.

wireless security camera with micIt can be a really good idea to have a wireless camera with a biult in mic. This feature can be realy handy for watching children or even an elderly parent. When this mic pics up sound it will transmit it to you and you can the reference your monitor to see what is going on in the next room. This can allow you to tend to others while just a glance away from your sleeping child for instance. Not a bad idea for peace of mind.

Keep An Eye On Your Children While You Are At Work

Hiring a new nanny for your children can be tough. Giving your full trust and confidence would be even harder. Get the peace of mind you need by installing several wireless camera baby monitors in rooms your child and the nanny frequent while you are in the office. You can conceal these cameras in toys or picture frames placed strategically so your nanny won’t know she’s being monitored.

These remote cameras are wireless. They have built in transmitters and power supplies that enable them to be accessed remotely. Some cameras have transmitting areas limited to within a 200 yards radius. These may be useless for you if your office is several miles away. Instead, purchase wireless cameras that have the capacity to be monitored via the internet. With these, you’ll be able to monitor your family any time you want.

Feel Confident Leaving Baby Alone

Author: WirelessRules February 9, 2009

wireless baby monitors

Leaving your sleeping baby in the nursery is not a problem anymore.  You can get a baby camera and monitor set so you can do your chores or gardening outside.  There are wireless baby monitors you can buy so you don’t have to limit the distance of your monitor with the wires.  You can place them in the kitchen, living room or wherever you will be.

These monitors have big screens so you can easily see your sleeping baby.  They can also receive audio so you can hear your baby when he or she wakes up.  Some even have infrared LED on the camera so you can see the baby in the dark.  Now, you can do anything you want and not worry about not being able to see or hear your baby when they wake up.

No Need To Wonder If Baby’s Okay

Author: WirelessRules February 9, 2009

outdoor baby monitors

Do you love to garden but are afraid to leave your sleeping baby in the nursery?  This really cuts the time you spend outdoors when you have to constantly check the baby if he or she has woken up from their nap.  One way for you to enjoy gardening or other outdoor activities without any worries is to get an outdoor baby monitor.

There are a lot of outdoor baby monitors that you can choose from.  Most of them are wireless so you can really take them outside.  You can clearly see your baby in the wide screens and hear them when they start crying.  And they even have an infrared LED on the camera so you will still have a clear vision in the dark.  You can use them for your sleeping infants or for your toddlers who are playing in the playroom.

Mobile lcd receiver

Author: WirelessRules November 13, 2008

mobile LCD receiverMost kids belong to a two-income household, meaning both the mother and the father work. Kids are usually left in the care of nannies or babysitters. It can be stressful for parents to leave their kids, especially with strangers, because there have been a lot of stories where the sitter neglects watching the kids.

Parents can have that peace of mind even while they are away from home by installing a nanny camera. This way they can view the activities that transpired throughout the day. A mobile LCD receiver is also recommended because you can watch events as they are happening. This is also great when you have to leave your kids in a separate room but want to keep a close watch on them.
