Keeping tabs on your car
July 28, 2009![]()
So often people find themselves victims of vehicle damage, due to thieves either trying to steal the car or extracting the contents form it. Even with insurance you are still out of pocket in my case three hundred dollars, each time it happens. This is a pain and a drain on the pocket book. When you call the police to make a claim without any pictures or witnesses there is very little that they can do for you. This is why a wireless IP camera would be a great tool in the war on thieves and vandals as you can identify them and hand over the evidence to the proper authorities. One would hope that once they were caught they may think twice about your car or belongings as an easy target and move along to someone without the wireless IP camera watching.

Night Vision Wireless Cameras
April 5, 2009
Most crimes take place at night as thieves like to work in the cover of dark. This being said if you are to use outdoor wireless security cameras to secure your yard, it would be wise to make sure that your cameras are equipped with LEDS these are little infra red lites that allow your cameras to see in the dark. Although to picture is black and white it is usually quite clear. You would be able to get pretty good footage to show the police if some vandalized your car or property. Having wireless night vision cameras installed on your premises can really help if something should happend.
Hidden Cameras Prove Useful in Stopping Crime
September 10, 2008
Whenever a facility is charged with caring for the very young, very old, or handicapped, there is the constant fear of abuse. But hidden cameras can make all the difference in either stemming your worries or stopping the abuse.
Such was the case with one Auburn facility that cared for both the mentally and physically handicapped. When allegations of abuse arose, the police responded by installing a hidden camera. Shortly after, the “nanny cam,” as it’s sometimes known, caught an employee abusing one of the facility’s members. The employee, Mark Orofino, was subsequently arrested and charged with assault among several other crimes.
Without the benefit of hidden camera surveillance, Orofino and others like him might never have faced justice.
