CCD or CMOS ?

When looking at buying a wireless cameras system it is good to know what type of camera would best suit your needs. There are different types of lenses in most wireless camera they can either be CCD or CMOS type. The main difference between the two types is the clarity of picture. The CCD type in more clear but the price reflects this as-well. The CMOS cameras or cheaper and for the most part the picture quality is quite good. Due to the technology involved the CMOS camera can be quite a bit smaller thus making them easier to hide in various locations. They are also not as sensitive to UV light as are the CCD they must be shrouded or kept out of direct sun light to avoid damage to the sensor. Just a few helpful tips to thin about.
