Motion detect!

Author: nathan January 11, 2009

One of the best things for home monitoring is the ability to use motion detect. This allows you to monitor activity around your home with having to have a huge DVR (Digital Video Recorder.) In fact I use a Wireless DVR that uses SD flash memory to store your recorded data it’s inexpensive and can be purchased any where.

Some wireless DVRs give you the option to record short AVI files or still frame, usually a jpeg format. It’s almost like haveing a digital camera that runs by it’s self when you are out. These can be purchased usually for around the two hundered daller mark and will work with most wireless cameras.
